Summer Screamers

Summer Screamers is a summer horror film series that is guaranteed to chill you to the bone.

We’re bringing together brand-new horror and iconic throwbacks in a weekly double feature spread across two nights. Thursday night screens the latest in new horror and finds its match on Friday with a film that riffs on the same ideas, fears, or genre.

Whether you are into new, classic, slasher, psychological or thrillers, there will be something for you this summer at The Film House.

A creeping sense of dread takes root in this opening pairing, where belief, isolation, and unseen forces begin to blur.

Backrooms (JUNE 25) brings a digital-age nightmare to life, an infinite maze of empty spaces where something always feels just out of sight. We’re pairing this one with The Shining  (JUNE 26) , a study in isolation and unraveling sanity set within the impossible labyrinth of the Overlook Hotel.

Together, they trap you in places that should feel safe but instead become inescapable nightmares.

Bright skies & beautiful traditions. Terrible vibes, though.

Our Summer Screamers pairing in July features, Leviticus (JULY 16) and Midsommar (JULY 17), and take us into worlds shaped by ritual, belief, and the promise of belonging. Communities slowly transform into something far more disturbing.
